Rennes sporting director Florian Maurice insists that midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will stay with the club next season.
Camavinga enjoyed a standout 2019/20 campaign under Julien Stéphan, with Real Madrid reportedly pushing hard for his signature.
But Maurice insists there has been ‘no real interest’ for the 17-year-old and wants him to continue his development at Roazhon Park.
“We have not discussed Camavinga’s departure,” he told RMC Sport. “There never was any real interest for him.
“Since I got here I knew what we were going to do with him in our project. What happens if Real Madrid offer €80m?
“Our answer will be ‘no’. We want to keep him around so that he can continue to develop in Stade Rennais.”
Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund have also expressed an interest in the teenager.
