Rennes are on the brink of signing Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.

Sky Italia says Rugani is moving to the French club on a season-long loan.

Juve have struck terms with Rennes over a loan at a cost of €1.5m.

Rennes will also pay his full salary during the loan spell, but there does not seem to be an option to buy.

Rennes have qualified for the Champions League for the first time in their history.
