As they’re looking to strengthen their midfield this summer, Stade Rennais are edging closer to sealing the transfer of Bodø/Glimt’s midfielder Albert Grønbæk (23).

Grønbæk may be on the edge to make a big move in Ligue 1 after an outstanding season at domestic champions Bodø/Glimt. Last season, the 23-year-old midfielder scored nine goals and delivered eight further assists to lead his side to the title and keep on the same rhythm this year, as Norway’s domestic league runs through a calendar year. During the first part of the season, the Danish playmaker netted eight goals and delivered two assists. He is now edging closer to strengthening Rennes’ midfield following Enzo Le Fée’s (24) transfer to AS Roma.
