Olympique de Marseille have made it clear to Jordan Veretout (31) that he does not have a future at the club, and he therefore has five days to plot a route out.

Veretout, along with the likes of Samuel Gigot, Ulisses Garcia, Azzedine Ounahi, and Chancel Mbemba have all been informed by the hierarchy at OM that, despite playing significant roles last season, they do not have a future at the club. They have been placed in the “loft” and are currently training away from the first team.

Marseille are looking to invite offers for the aforementioned players, however, they are yet to arrive. Stade Rennais may, however, be about to take one of those players off their hands – Veretout. According to a report from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, the Breton club are taking an interest in the France international and may make an offer before the closure of the window.

Sassuolo’s Maxime Lopez is another option being considered by Rennes, however, they face competition from Paris FC, who are set to submit an offer for the player later today, according to Toubache-Ter.
