Renato Sanches gives Marseille fans the middle finger

After his subbing in injury time during the draw at Marseille on Sunday night, Lille midfielder Renato Sanches was seen making an obscene gesture towards the stands behind the away dugout.

Having trudged off slowly with Lille clinging onto a point having played an hour with ten men, the Portuguese international was heckled by Marseille supporters (continuing their berating of him during play beforehand) leading to a brief but angry exchange at a distance.

Just before taking his place on the Lille bench, Sanches was seen – live on Amazon Prime Video in France – to give fans sat behind the benches the middle finger. It remains to be seen if the midfielder will be punished as a result.
