According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain are looking to include Renato Sanches (26) in any deal agreed with Benfica for the signing of João Neves (19). The former Benfica midfielder has returned to the Ligue 1 champions following a loan spell with AS Roma last season.

Les Parisiens have launched an opening bid in the region of €80m including bonuses for the 19-year-old as confirmed by the Lisbon club’s president Rui Costa. Benfica are yet to respond to the bid from PSG which currently falls €40m short of the midfielder’s release clause. Jorge Mendes is the agent of both players who could be involved in the deal.

Sanches has failed to find a settled club since he departed the Portuguese giants for Bayern Munich following an impressive set of performances at EURO 2016. A potential return to his boyhood club after an underwhelming spell at PSG may give the 26-year-old the opportunity to find a settled home.
