The football world breathed a huge sigh of relief on Tuesday as Finland and Ajax legend Jari Litmanen announced that he has made a full recovery from the coronavirus.
Litmanen is widely regarded as one of Ajax’s best-ever players, having scored 136 goals in 259 career appearances during his two stints at the club, featuring at Barcelona and Liverpool in between.

During his Ajax career, Litmanen earned a total of 14 trophies at the club, including five league titles and their famous 1995 Champions League conquest.
