As Tottenham Hotspur head into their next Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace on March 2, they’ll hope to have Pedro Porro back from injury.
Porro and fellow full-back Destiny Udogie were missing from the Spurs line-up in the defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers, and the break from competitive action this weekend – as intended opponents Chelsea are contesting the Carabao Cup final with Liverpool – gives both players a chance to work on their fitness.
Porro already has seven assists for the Lilywhites this season, per WhoScored, so his importance to Ange Postecoglou’s side can’t be overstated.

His marauding runs down the Spurs right-hand side have become a feature of the way in which the Australian manager wants to play, and his absence was keenly felt against Wolves.
He could be back sooner than first thought too, as a comical exchange on Tik Tok, cited by the Daily Mail, highlighted the player’s thinking.
Asked by a fan whether he should be transferring the player out of his Fantasy Premier League team, Porro responded with the plea; ‘Don’t sell me,’ which he accompanied with a laughing face and a muscle emoji.

Tottenham fans will be hoping that this is a sign that the player himself, who was shown working out in the gym, could be back sooner rather than later.
