Reliable reports are suggesting that Chelsea have now started talks to sign a very unpopular transfer target this window.

Chelsea have been needing to get some outgoing deals confirmed first before moving on to two or three more transfer targets to bring in.

Sources: Chelsea still in the market for a new striker, new centre back, and a new goalkeeper this window!

And the outgoing deals have been advancing well this week and Chelsea have done well to get some good deals done.

Marc Guiu has sent a message to the club and Chelsea fans after his season long loan move to new Premier League side Sunderland was officially confirmed yesterday.

And they are also making £45m by selling two players to another new Premier League club Burnley this window, with both Armando Broja and midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu joining them on permanent deals.

And with the outgoings moving on, we have had the dreaded confirmation that Chelsea have started talks to sign a new attacker, and I’m not speaking about Xavi Simons!

talkSPORT are reporting that Chelsea have opened talks with Manchester United regarding signing winger Alejandro Garnacho.

He wants the move. But Manchester United are apparently seeking in excess of £40m, but Chelsea feel the price will drop should Benjamin Sesko’s move be completed.

Let’s see what happens there then I guess.

I’m not dead against it

Many Chelsea fans are dead against signing Garnacho, and he is certainly an unpopular transfer pursuit. But to be honest, I think he’s got a lot of talent and is a good player, but there are just many negatives that could come along with this one as well and I think that just causes concerns.

It could turn out fine, it could turn out to be a very good signing, or it could turn out to be a nightmare!
