The German club took to Twitter to wish the 18-year-old a swift recovery.

The Brazilian was not in Lucien Favre’s squad against Hertha over the weekend as he was on international duty with the U-21 team in Cairo, Egypt last week.

Currently on loan from Real Madrid, Reinier has made seven appearances for his new club.

Dortmund’s next match is against Club Brugge in the Champions League on Tuesday.
