AC Milan have published a video which provides a peek into Tijjani Reijnders’ life beyond the football pitch, featuring his wife and young son Xavien.

During the 33-minute long video, Reijnders lifts the the lid on his shirt collection, attempting to teach his baby football-related words and his love for Lionel Messi.

In addition, his wife Marina Reijnders spoke about work-life balance, keeping Tijjani down to earth and how he ruined a video she wanted to take on their honeymoon.

As a reminder in case you missed it, Reijnders is apparently close to extending his contract with Milan are further pledging his long-term commitment to the club. It is a fitting reward too given his performance levels since joining.

The Dutch midfielder will soon sign a deal that will see his salary more than double to €3m net plus bonuses that increase in the following years, at least as per the latest from Sky.
