Abingdon United will be Southern Women’s Regional League champions if they avoid defeat in their last game at home to title-rivals Ascot United.

EASTERN – Stevenage top after stoppage-time winner

Premier – Stevenage knocked Luton Town off the top with Victoria Neal’s stoppage-time effort bringing a 2-1 result. AFC Sudbury beat Bedford 4-2 with Holly Kennard at the double, Royston Town took the points 3-2 at Haringey Borough. Needham Market’s Mia Etheridge got the only goal at Bowers & Pitsea, as did Colney Heath’s Kiera Ward in the basement battle at Kings Lynn Town.

1 North – AFC Dunstable’s 2-2 draw at Wootton Blue Cross was enough to take them top, with Biggleswade United beaten 3-2 at Newmarket Town. St Ives Town’s Annie Posnett struck four times in a 5-2 victory at Yaxley Phoenix, Fakenham Town’s Sophie Lubbock got both their goals in a 2-1 win Haverhill Rovers.

1 South – Barking are five points ahead of the rest having won 5-1 at East Bergholt United, Lawford sit second following a 3-2 success at Wodson Park where Daisy Canny got a couple, Cheshunt came from 2-1 down at half-time to overcome Grays Athletic 4-2.

EAST MIDLANDS – Ilkeston edge thriller with title-rivals Dronfield

Premier – Notts County’s Nicola Emery got the only goal in the game with Anstey Nomads, Lincoln United are up to second after sinking Basford United 7-1 with Ellie Gilliatt getting four. Rotherham United’s first win was 2-1 at Oughtibridge WM, where Millers’ sub Georgia Harris scored. Mansfield Town had a narrow 3-2 result over Arnold Eagles.

1 Central – Ilkeston Town’s Jade Eaglefield netted twice as they came from behind to beat Dronfield Town 4-3 and depose them as leaders. Nottingham Trent University are third after a 2-1 result over Sherwood, while Notts County Devs defeated West Bridgford 4-0 featuring Phoebe Roe’s treble.

1 North – Gainsborough Trinity gained pole position with a 3-2 win at SJR Worksop, aided by Amy O’Brien’s brace. Away victories too for Grimsby Borough at Lincoln United Devs with Abby Westerman getting both goals, Sleaford Town 2-1 at Grimsby Town.

1 South – Dunton & Broughton United defeated second-placed Kettering Town 5-2, Leicester City LFC drew 2-2 at leaders Northampton Town Devs.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Benfica beat leaders

Premier – Dulwich Hamlet had an attendance of 413 for their 6-1 result against New London Lionesses, Ebbsfleet United were 5-1 winners at Dartford.

1 North – Sport London E Benfica downed leaders Clapton 2-1, Leatherhead lost 2-0 at home to Denham United, there were 1-1 draws for Dulwich Hamlet Reserves versus Whyteleafe and Richmond Park against Hackney.

1 South – Grace Mayhead’s hat-trick for Maidstone United did not save them from a 5-3 home defeat to Bromley, Elena Brock and Lauren Harris got three each in Herne Bay’s 9-1 crushing of Cray Valley. Newhaven beat Bexhill United 2-1 away, Steyning Town and Montpelier Villa tied 2-2.

League Cup – Dorking Wanderers put ten past Enfield Town with three apiece from Katie Butts and Cherelle Khassel, to set up a home quarter-final next Sunday with Fulham, who eliminated Hastings United 4-0. Worthing went through 5-1 at Welling United and next travel to Sutton United.

League Trophy – Eastbourne United won 4-1 on penalties at Watford Devs following a 2-2 extra-time deadlock, and now host Clapton on Sunday in the last eight.

NORTH EAST – Barnsley take top spot from Handsworth

Premier – Chester le Street Town made it ten straight wins 5-3 at Wallsend BC, despite Rachel Mellor’s dismissal. South Shields won 4-2 at Wakefield, Alnwick Town’s 5-1 result over Redcar Town included a Michelle Stewart treble, a Jessica Robinson double helped Hull United overcome Sunderland West End 5-3.

1 North – Wallsend BC Reserves won 2-0 at West Allotment Celtic, Washington were held 1-1 by Thornaby. Lyndsey Bell levelled ten minutes into added time to give Gateshead a 2-2 tie with Hartlepool United, Chester le Street United defeated Norton & Stockton Ancients Reserves with Holly Doogan’s double, Hartlepool Pools Youth got all three of the goals at Guisborough Town, Spennymoor Town had a walkover against Bishop Auckland.

1 South – Barnsley FC Ladies won 3-2 at Handsworth to take top spot from them, Lynn Goodman netted what proved the winner. Millmoor shared six goals with Farsley Celtic Juniors, Altofts drew 1-1 with Ossett United. There were 4-1 wins for York Railway Institute over Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United Foundation at Ripon City, while Bradford Park Avenue held off a Harworth Colliery fightback for a 3-2 victory.

NORTH WEST – Blackpool fightback to win clash of leading pair

Premier – Curzon Ashton extended their lead to four points with a 4-2 defeat of West Didsbury & Chorlton, while Salford City Lionesses had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Cheadle Town Stingers. Fleetwood Town Wrens versus Crewe Alexandra finished 4-4, Darwen got the one goal at Mossley Hill, FC United of Manchester’s Olivia Dixon netted a nine-minute hat-trick during their 8-1 win at Blackburn CSC.

1 North – Blackpool overcame a half-time deficit to down leaders Haslingden 4-1, Penrith’s Sarah Smith hit the net three times in a 7-1 defeat of hosts Chorley Devs. Bolton Wanderers beat Workington Reds 2-1 with a Shannon Gill double, Preston North End had a similar result against Morecambe, Carlisle United won 4-1 at Penwortham Town, Accrington Stanley also scored four at Sir Tom Finney.

1 South – Runcorn Linnets remained in first with a 2-1 result at BRNESC, Bury AFC putting a dozen away at Wythenshawe Amateurs led by Sophie Charlton (five) and Chloe Greenall (four). Chester’s Molly Wood netted a 14-minute hat-trick for a 5-1 result at Warrington Wolves, Altrincham got four against Alder, Poulton Vics three at home to Hindley.

SOUTHERN – Abingdon United one point away from winning league

Premier – Abingdon United will be champions if they avoid defeat in their last game at home to Ascot on Sunday, after they scored six at Winchester City Flyers and United kept their own hopes in winning 2-1 away to Bournemouth Sports. Elsewhere, Eastleigh beat Abingdon Town 3-0 with Catherine Browning’s second-half treble.

1 North – Woodley United needed Charley Evans’ injury-time goal for a 2-1 result at Penn & Tylers Green which kept them top, as title-rivals Milton United defeated Kidlington 4-0. Long Crendon’s Emma Leith got the single goal at Eversley & California, Caversham United scored five against Carterton.

1 South – Badshot Lea beat Abbey Rangers 4-2 with three goals from Lucy Cook, Stoneham returned from Selsey Devs 4-1 victors.

League Cup – Rushmoor will go to Stoneham in the quarter-finals, having progressed 5-4 on penalties at Oxford City after a goal apiece in normal time.

SOUTH WEST – Frampton and MAP top after title six-pointers

Premier – Leaders Forest Green Rovers had an important 2-0 win over Sherborne Town, but Torquay United remain well-placed with a similar outcome at Ilminster Town. Warminster Town beat Bishops Lydeard 2-1, it ended 2-2 between Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Poole Town.

1 East – Pucklechurch Sports made it eight wins in a row 5-0 against Middlezoy, AEK Boco won 8-2 at Stockwood Wanderers with three from Ilarna Nche. Weston super Mare picked up a 2-1 result at Weymouth, likewise Paulton Rovers over Frome Town.

1 North – Frampton Rangers’ Amie Norris came off the bench to grab the winner at Oldland Abbotonians, from whom they took top spot on goal-difference 2-1. SGS Olveston United defeated hosts Downend Flyers 3-1.

1 West – Marine Academy Plymouth’s Sam Drewery contributed three goals to a 5-1 defeat of Sticker, who consequently lost the leadership to MAP. Saltash United sub Emilia Heyes got the decider for a 2-1 win at Feniton, Bideford’s Hannah Edmondson got two goals in a 2-2 tie at Budleigh Salterton.

WEST MIDLANDS –  Ten on the spin for both Sphinx and Knowle

Premier – Shrewsbury Town were beaten 4-1 at home by leaders Kidderminster Harriers, Sutton Coldfield Town edged Lye Town 3-2. Worcester City were held 1-1 by Burton Albion, allowing Solihull Sporting into third with a 3-0 defeat of Coundon Court. Lichfield City were 3-1 winners on their travels at Crusaders.

1 North – Leaders Shifnal Town got all three goals at Coventry City, Tamworth beat Port Vale 2-1, Natasha Baptiste netted four as Walsall Wood posted a 5-3 scoreline over Darlaston Town, City of Stoke’s Lucy Ridgway scored twice in a 3-1 win at Lichfield City Reserves.

1 South – Ten wins on the spin now for both Coventry Sphinx and Knowle, the former 6-1 winners over Worcester City Devs with a Kirsty Farnsworth hat-trick, the latter putting six past Kingfisher with three each from Jessica Holland and Demi-Lee Rolph. Rugby Borough beat Long Itchington 3-1, Sedgley & Gornal United drew 3-3 with Rugby Town, Droitwich Spa and Leamington Lions were goalless.

Div.1 Cup – AFC Telford United are to host Walsall Wood in the quarter-finals after a 7-0 success at Wyrley.
