South Shields are new North East League Premier Division leaders, while Bristol Rovers beat the top team in the South West.

EASTERN – Bowers super-sub Harris sends them through

League Cup 2nd Rd – Bowers & Pitsea substitute Olivia Harris got both goals in a 2-0 victory at Thetford Town, Etta Sam’s late double gave Watford Ladies Development a 2-0 win over Stevenage Devs. Lawford’s Cate Jackson bagged a late brace to seal their progress 3-0 past Hutton, there were away wins for Stevenage (6-3 at Barking), Needham Market (2-1 at Hertford Town) Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers (5-1 at Histon) and Wroxham (6-1 at Southend United), while Royston Town put ten past Kings Lynn Town and St Albans City came through 3-1 against Stanway Pegasus.

EAST MIDLANDS – Chesterfield Ladies close in on leaders

Premier – Chesterfield Ladies moved within two points of leaders Lincoln United with all five goals at Anstey Nomads, Mansfield Town are just goal-difference behind third-placed Rotherham United after defeating them 2-0. Ilkeston Town returned from Basford United 5-2 victors and Dunton & Broughton United netted nine against Long Eaton United.

1 Central – Arnold Eagles beat Sherwood 4-2 to make it four wins from four, Beaumont Park edged Loughborough Foxes Vixens 2-1, as did Notts County Devs against Sandiacre Town. West Bridgford drew 1-1 with Asfordby Amateurs and on Tuesday travel to play Loughborough Vixens at Holywell Sports Complex.

1 North – Oughtibridge WM hit Retford for six to go top, Gainsborough Trinity’s 2-1 win over Grimsby Borough put them second, while Lincoln United Devs were 5-1 winners at Sleaford Town.

1 South – Northampton Town Devs and Stamford both joined leaders Newport Pagnell Town on ten points, the Cobblers 5-0 winners over Leicester City LFC, Stamford beating Thrapston Town with a Laura Dodwell effort. Elsewhere, Kettering Town defeated Nuneaton Borough 5-1.

LONDON & SOUTH EAST – Herne Bay progress on penalties

1 North –  Denham United are third following their 5-1 victory with four second-half goals at Richmond Park.

1 South – Welling United won at Montpelier Villa with two goals before the break, pushing them up to fifth position.

League Cup 2nd Rd – Clapton had a crowd of 375 but bowed out 4-1 to Fulham, Dulwich Hamlet hit Eastbourne United for six in front of 353 fans. Herne Bay beat Whyteleafe 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 deadlock, Ashford United sank hosts Hassocks 7-1 with four from Rebecca Wyatt, Bromley netted nine past Camden & Islington United aided by a Charlotte Lee hat-trick but with a late red card for Eloise Bovill. Dorking Wanderers went through 1-0 at Ashmount Leigh, Crawley AFC 2-1 at Dartford Reserves, Actonians Reserves eliminated Hackney 3-2, while results elsewhere were; Millwall Lionesses 5-0 Newhaven,  Enfield Town 8-1 Bexhill United, Saltdean United 3-0 Hastings United, Aylesford 4-0 Bognor Regis Town.

NORTH EAST – South Shields go top after Bradford City stun previous leaders

Premier – Bradford City abruptly ended Sunderland West End 100% record with a 6-2 beating, South Shields trailed at Harrogate Town but scored two late goals to win 2-1 and go top. Barnsley FC drew 1-1 with Spennymoor Town, Wallsend BC’s Michaela Sewell got a double in the 3-1 win over 3-1 Hull United.

1 North – Consett’s Rebecca Hansen scored the decider as they won 3-2 at Bishop Auckland to sit second, Ponteland United ran riot against Chester le Street United with a massive 20-1 scoreline. Wallsend BC Reserves pipped Gateshead in a nine-goal thriller and Thornaby ran out 4-1 winners at Hartlepool Pools Youth.

1 South – Farsley Celtic JFC Ladies claimed a first win when sending Ripon City to a 5-1 defeat.

NORTH WEST – Tranmere win seven-goal thriller

Premier – Cheadle Town Stingers held the leadership with a 4-0 result at Blackburn CSC, Tranmere Rovers edged Curzon Ashton 4-3, Darwen defeated  Blackpool 5-0 and Fleetwood Town Wrens’ 4-1 win over Salford City featured an Imogen Hill hat-trick.

1 North – Preston North End’s Samantha Ball struck on 89 minutes for a 2-1 victory at Penrith, Mancunian Unity won 2-1 over Workington Reds, Radcliffe defeated Fleetwood Town Wrens Reserves 5-1 and Carlisle United beat Haslingden 4-2.

1 South – Wythenshawe’s ninth straight win came with a huge 19 goals against Northwich Vixens, Runcorn Linnets replaced FC St Helens in second when beating them 4-1 helped by a Mollie Bennett hat-trick. Ellesmere Port Town got both goals at Warrington Wolves, as did Chester at home to Litherland REMYCA.

SOUTHERN – Two Woodley subs strike late in victory

Premier – Bournemouth Sports gained ground on leaders Ascot United with a dramatic 4-3 defeat of Oxford City, Woodley United subs Katie Hudson and Bonnie Messitt scored very late goals in a 3-1 win over Winchester City Flyers, which included red cards for teammate Madelyn Sawyer and the visitors’ Charlie Snelling. Amy Leach got two goals but Katie Riddington the winner as Wycombe Wanderers edged Eastleigh 3-2.

1 North – Kidlington opened up a nine-point lead with an 8-2 result over Caversham United, in which Courtney Sumner scored a treble. Long Crendon won 4-1 at Eversley & California, Milton United downed Wycombe Wanderers U-23s 3-2, Ascot United Reserves sent Beaconsfield Town to a 5-0 loss, while Penn & Tylers Green versus Abingdon United Devs was abandoned.

1 South – Bournemouth Sports Reserves just came out on top 5-4 against Rushmoor after Emily Phillips’ late brace, AFC Stoneham won 2-1 at Abbey Rangers, AFC Portchester scored five against Havant & Waterlooville for their fifth win in a row, Woking defeated Fleet Town 4-2.

SOUTH WEST – Bristol Rovers defeat top side

Premier – Bristol Rovers beat leaders Marine Academy Plymouth 3-2 to sit two points short of them, with two games in hand. Bishops Lydeard pulled off a 1-0 win at second-placed Pucklechurch Sports, Liskeard Athletic were 3-0 winners at Frampton Rangers.

1 East – Royal Wootton Bassett Town won 2-1 at top-of-the-table Poole Town, Stockwood Wanderers’ Toni Blenkinsopp scored twice during a 4-4 draw at Weymouth, Bath City beat Frome Town 1-0.

1 North – Gloucester City made the breakthrough against Paulton Rovers close to the hour mark and went on to win 5-0, SGS Olveston United sent Mangotsfield United home beaten 3-0.

1 West – Helston Athletic had a 4-1 victory over Ilminster Town, Sticker put six past Middlezoy and it was goalless between Feniton and Saltash United.

WEST MIDLANDS – Pegasus win on spot-kicks

Premier – Shrewsbury Town went up two places to third with a 3-2 victory at Knowle.

1 North – Casey Beamon accounted for four of Newcastle Town’s eleven goals against Darlaston Town, as they extended their lead to four points.

1 South – Rugby Town’s Kelsey Green scored twice in a 2-2 tie which denied visitors Long Itchington the leadership. Bewdley Town beat Worcester City Devs by a single goal.

Premier Cup 1st Rd – Worcester City knocked out Burton Albion by three goals to nil.

Division 1 Cup 1st Rd – Hereford Pegasus defeated Droitwich Spa 4-2 on penalties with the sides having been level at 2-2, AFC Telford United’s 3-2 elimination of Leamington Lions was down to a Sasha Woodhouse winner, Alvechurch won 2-1 at Coventry City thanks to a couple by Alisha Sheridan, Leek Town Reserves were 3-2 winners over Walsall FC.
