Chelsea Blues captain Reece James set the tone for tonight's FIFA Club World Cup final clash against PSG.

On Saturday evening, Reece James faced the press. On the eve of a high-stakes Club World Cup final, the Chelsea skipper did not hesitate to display overflowing confidence, despite the prospect of facing a "perfect" PSG side.

"This match is of the highest level. It's one of the strongest teams in the world. But it's a final—a one-off game. I've played in many finals where we were the favorites and didn't win. It doesn't matter who is the favorite." declared the Blues' captain.

Fully aware of PSG's quality, the Englishman prefers to strike a balance between humility and ambition. "PSG are incredible and we expect a tough match, but we also have an amazing team and we're going to surprise a lot of people..." he added.

According to Reece James, the key will be in preparation and Chelsea's ability to put up real resistance: "We haven't played against them yet. We expect a difficult match. They are European champions. All that's left is for us to prepare well and be ready."
