Reece James caps off superb season with another masterclass
the Chelsea News
Chelsea’s game against Leicester last night was a bit of an odd one.
Something of a dead rubber, it saw both sides play with plenty of intensity to begin with before things really petered out in the second half.
For many Chelsea players, we could be seeing their last couple of games at Stamford Bridge, including goalscorer Marcos Alonso.
For others, they’re still just starting out on their Chelsea journey. That includes Reece James.
WhoScored had him down as an 8.4/10 rating, after his brilliant assist to Alonso.
After starting in his natural right wing back role, he moved in to the middle to play as a central midfielder, showing all his incredible talent and natural ability to play wherever he liked.
This guy would have been up there for player of the season if it hadn’t been for a hamstring problem which kept him out for a couple of months.
