The New York Red Bulls have snatched the lead in the first-ever Hudson River Derby in the MLS Cup Playoffs, and they've done it in spectacular fashion.
The tension was palpable inside Citi Field as they two local rivals go head-to-head for a place in the Eastern Conference Final, but the home crowd was silenced inside 20 minutes when Uruguayan midfielder Felipe Carballo unleashed a rocket to give the visitors the lead.
The move started all the way back with a Red Bulls goal-kick, but after falling to the midfielder on loan from Grêmio it was lashed into the roof of the net to bring the derby to life.
Now that's how you leave your mark in a rivalry match.
To sweeten the pot, the Red Bulls bagged another from a corner-kick a few minutes later to double their lead.
Uh-oh, NYCFC!
