According to Santi Aouna from Foot Mercato, Folarin Balogun, the 21-year-old English forward, currently on loan at Reims from Arsenal, is attracting interest from several clubs in Ligue 1. He is reportedly willing to continue his career in France.

Balogun has been a key player for Reims this season, scoring 18 goals in 30 matches, which has helped them to reach the eighth position in the Ligue 1 table. As a result, he has caught the attention of several big clubs, including Monaco, Lille, and AC Milan.

Lille are particularly keen on Balogun and is making progress in their pursuit of the player. The Englishman is reportedly interested in joining the club coached by Paulo Fonseca. Moreover, Balogun has enjoyed his time in France and is open to the idea of continuing his career in Ligue 1.

However, Marseille are also in the running for Balogun’s signature. Despite signing Vitinha for 32 million euros, the club is reportedly considering the addition of another striker. Balogun is said to have liked the atmosphere at the Orange Velodrome, but it remains to be seen if Marseille has the financial resources to acquire a player who is in high demand.

In any case, Arsenal is unlikely to let Balogun go cheaply, given the number of clubs vying for his services. Balogun’s contract with Arsenal runs until 2025, and he has already earned 13 caps for England’s Under-21 team, scoring seven goals.
