Chelsea have completely transformed in just one season under new head coach Enzo Maresca, placing themselves third in the Premier League.

After getting a 1-1 draw against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal last night, a team who are meant to be title challengers this season according to many of the forecasts, Chelsea are now the third best team in the league basing off current league position going into another international break – that is just a fact.

EXCLUSIVE! Agents are touting a couple of big name Chelsea players to other clubs!

Chelsea are currently above Arsenal in the league albeit on goal difference, again, that is just a fact. Chelsea are also doing a heck of a lot better than they were this time last season, where I believe they were hovering around 10th place after the same amount of game if my memory serves me correctly.

Under Mauricio Pochettino and even managers before that, things were toxic and dire for Chelsea, the fans had had enough.

But under Maresca, there is a different feeling, a feeling of positivity and of progress going forward. Long may that continue.

Chelsea now close to Arsenal

Former player turned pundit Robbie Mustoe believes Chelsea are now very close to Arsenal.

“Given this project and how young the team is, I thought Chelsea were surprisingly close to Arsenal in terms of the way they play and physicality. I think they are learning a lot, they are looking really good.”

I think Chelsea more than matched Arsenal last night and to be honest, should have won the game. I wasn’t impressed at all really with Arsenal and didn’t see anything to suggest they were going to be title challengers this season. They’ve had a couple stumbling results lately and they would have wanted to win this, but they didn’t look on top much at all in this game.
