Real Valladolid‘s majority shareholder Ronaldo Nazario has agreed terms to a deal to sell the club to local construction firm Inexo, although the deal has not been signed. In 2018, Ronaldo took over a controlling stake for the price of €30m, and has overseen two promotions and two relegations, with the side currently in Segunda, but has a fraught relationship with the fans at the Nuevo Jose Zorrilla.

As per Cadena SER, Ronaldo signed a declaration of intent to sell the club to Inexo at the end of March, which also listed the terms of the sale. The deal would cost €28.7m initially for 49% of the club, while they would have the obligation to buy the remaining 16.7% of the club off Ronaldo in the period between 2028 and 2030 for €10m if the club is in Primera, and €5m if it is in Segunda. The minimum fee is €33.7m.

The declaration of intentions is not binding, and Ronaldo is yet to accept the deal in hope of a better offer. It is worth pointing out that Valladolid are just two wins away from securing promotion back to La Liga, as Segunda comes to its conclusion.
