Real Madrid produce a number of talented players from their academy who do not always get a chance to showcase their talents at the first-team level.

But year after year, clubs from within Spain and outside line up to take away the young talents from La Fabrica and it is no different this summer either.

Nico Paz, too, is said to be closing in on a loan switch to CD Leganes and now it appears that another player from the Real Madrid youth setup could be on the move.

Real Valladolid want Mario Martin

Indeed, according to journalist Jorge Picon, Real Madrid midfielder Mario Martin has emerged as a target for Real Valladolid in the ongoing transfer window.

Numerous clubs have been knocking on the door of the 20-year-old, who would be free to leave the club this summer if a good offer arrives.

As it happens, Valladolid happens to be the most interested and have already made contact with Real Madrid to ask about the Castilla starlet, with talks already ongoing.

Valladolid, who are in need of numerous reinforcements in the market, are offering Martin a leading role. Their sporting director, Domingo Catoira, and manager, Paulo Pezzolano, see him as a key player in the planning for next season.

The formula for the operation will be key. The ideal for Real Madrid would be a sale, while retaining part of his rights, as well as an option to buy him back.

However, if Valladolid are not in a position to afford such a deal, a loan operation will be considered as long as there are guarantees that Martin would play regularly.

Earlier this week, it was suggested that Martin could be an option to replace Dani Ceballos in the first team, but it appears that the young midfielder could be on his way out of Real Madrid.
