Real Sociedad are poised to beat a host of clubs all over Europe and sign Takefusa Kubo on a loan deal from Real Madrid.

That is according to a report in AS which claimed that Los Blancos view La Real as the ideal destination for the Japanese teenager – with Martin Odegaard prospering in San Sebastian following a similar loan deal.

The Japanese teenager is currently enjoying a season-long loan deal at Real Mallorca, scoring three goals across 31 appearances – including 15 starts.

Mallorca however are poised for relegation and it’s unlikely that Real Madrid will allow him to stay for a further season.

Zinedine Zidane’s side have high hopes about Kubo though, and want him to stay playing top-flight football before bringing him back into the first team fold.
