Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak is being watched by Barcelona.
Sport says Barca's scouting department is interested in Real Sociedad's Swedish striker with a centre forward one of the priorities for the next project.
Although the current board has no power to sign players a new president will be in place from early March.
Isak's performances have been tracked by Barca scouts since October 2020. The current sporting directors, led by Ramon Planes, have been combing the market to come up with names for whoever the next president is.
Isak, 21, scored 16 goals in his first year for La Real and this season has 12 in 20 games. He had a bad start to the season but has found form and bagged a hat-trick against Alaves.
