Real Sociedad star explains why Real Madrid’s front-3 are not clicking yet | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at Real Sociedad has this weekend provided his take on why the star-studded frontline at La Liga rivals Real Madrid has not quite clicked into gear as of yet.

The subject of the teething problems in Spain’s capital has of course proven a prominent one in the media headlines over recent weeks.

This comes as the trio of Vinícius Jr, Rodrygo and summer arrival Kylian Mbappé continue to work towards making their potential explosivity a reality on the pitch.

To date, as much has failed to come to fruition, leading to concerns amongst those of a Blancos persuasion eager to see their side keep pace with arch rivals Barcelona atop the La Liga table.

Next up when it comes to such endeavours is a meeting with Real Sociedad, on Saturday evening.

Speaking in an interview with LaLigaTV this weekend, La Real standout Takefusa Kubo, who spent the early years of his career developing in Madrid, was in turn asked for his take on the Vinícius, Rodrygo, Mbappé situation.

And the Japanese international’s response proved an interesting one, with Kubo having explained:

“Real Madrid’s forwards are very good and fast. But I think their three attacking players all like to play in the same position, and that’s why they’re not performing at their best level at the moment.”
