Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler (27) is expected to leave the French capital after only two seasons and Les Parisiens are reportedly ready to sanction his departure. Le Parisien understands that the Spaniard is looking for game time and a way out after playing a mostly peripheral role in Luis Enrique’s squad. PSG have reportedly set up a €20m price tag for the services of Soler, who remains tied with the Ligue 1 champions over a contract running until 2027.

The outlet adds that Aston Villa were previously interested in acquiring Soler but the Villans are reportedly no longer in the race for his signing. Other Premier League outfits have made their interest known. Brighton and Hove Albion reportedly made Soler a contract proposal whilst West Ham have shown their concrete interest to PSG.

However, Le Parisien adds that a return to La Liga is the most probable outcome for Soler considering Real Sociedad got in touch with PSG to find out the conditions of a possible transfer. The outlet understands that the La Liga club wish to sell Spain international Mikel Mireno (28) to free up funds for Soler’s potential transfer, which could be proposed to PSG as a loan with option to buy.
