The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments at Sociedad’s training ground.

La Real, of course, are fresh off a winning post-international break return to action on Sunday.

After making the trip to Alavés, a solitary strike on the part of Jon Pacheco proved enough to give rise to a deserved three points, the Basque outfit’s third in succession.

One source of concern on an otherwise positive day’s work for Imanol’s troops on Sunday, however, came on the personnel front.

After pulling up clutching his hamstring, winger Takefusa Kubo was forced into a premature departure from proceedings at Mendizorrotza.

And, as per MD, the Japanese was a notable absentee from training on Monday afternoon.

Also absent from group activities, meanwhile, was Ander Barrenetxea, fresh off marking his return to the pitch on Sunday.

The 22-year-old is not thought to have picked up a fresh issue, with an individualised session having instead been arranged for Barrene in a bid to avoid an injury setback.
