Real Sociedad in ‘advanced talks’ to sign Wolves star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad are closing on a completed deal for a member of the attacking ranks at Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Gonçalo Guedes as the player in question.

Portuguese international Guedes for his part spent this past season plying his trade back on the books of Wolves.

As much came after a pair of prior loan spells away from Molineux, with Benfica and Villarreal respectively.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media early this week is anything to go by, then Guedes’ time back in England looks set to be short lived.

This comes with the 28-year-old inching towards a move to the aforementioned Real Sociedad.

As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:

‘Real Sociedad and Wolverhampton are in advanced talks for the transfer of Gonçalo Guedes. In the coming hours, there will be contacts between the parties to see if the deal can move forward.’
