Real Sociedad handed training ground boost | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have early this week been afforded a boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation of the return of Arsen Zakharyan to group training alongside the rest of the club’s first-team squad.

Midfielder Zakharyan had for his part been forced to sit out the last couple of weeks of pre-season training at Zubieta.

This came, first, owing to an injury setback. Then, the Russian was struck down by a viral infection, from which he is still understood to be recovering.

As alluded to above, though, on Monday, Zakharyan was considered well enough to play his part in group activities in San Sebastian.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘One of the main pieces of news from the session was Arsen Zakharyan’s partial participation with the group. The Russian attacking midfielder completed the first part of training with his teammates and continued the second part alone with individualized work.’
