La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Tuesday been afforded some altogether timely positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Luka Sučić played his part in group training alongside the rest of Imanol’s squad this morning.

Midfielder Sučić for his part picked up a sprained knee just last week, en route to Real Sociedad’s Europa League meeting with Midtjylland.

The expectation, in turn, was that the Croatian international was set for a spell of several weeks on the sidelines.

As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from La Real’s training base is anything to go by, then Sučić’s absence looks set to be considerably shorter.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘The Croatian surprised everyone this morning by taking to the pitch at the Z2 in Zubieta with the rest of the group just five days after suffering a sprained knee.’

It now remains to be seen if Sučić is considered well enough to play his part against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night.
