Real Mallorca whizkid Luka Romero has dedicated his first senior goal to Diego Maradona.

The 16 year-old Argentine midfielder scored in Mallorca's victory over Segunda Division opponents Logrones, becoming the second youngest player to score in Spanish football.

At 16 years and 11 days, Romero said at the final whistle: "When I scored the goal, I started crying. Thinking about my father, my mother, the people who support me.

"I didn't believe it. a dream. It is also for Diego Maradona and for my grandmother, who is watching me from up there."

At 15 years and 219 days, Romero became the youngest player to make his debut in the Primera last season against Real Madrid.
