Real Madrid are on the verge of securing the signing of Abdellah Ouazane, a talented 16-year-old from Ajax who has impressed scouts across Europe.
According to reports from Mundo Deportivo and the Dutch press, it is only a matter of days before Ouazane’s move to the Spanish giants becomes official.
Despite Ajax’s desperate attempts to keep him, Real Madrid’s plan to bring him to the Santiago Bernabéu is moving ahead quickly.
Ouazane has been on Real Madrid’s radar for weeks. His standout performances for Ajax’s youth teams caught the attention of the Spanish club, who want to add him to their growing group of young talents for the future.
The player’s move could become official this month, giving Real Madrid another exciting prospect to develop.
What makes Ouazane’s story special is how quickly he has risen through the ranks without even playing a single first-team game for Ajax, the club he joined back in 2016.

His talent was clear early on, and he became a star at youth level. He has represented both the Netherlands and Morocco at the U-15 level but ultimately chose Morocco, the country of his parents.
His decision paid off when Morocco picked him for the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations. Ouazane was outstanding in the tournament, being named Player of the Tournament and helping Morocco lift the trophy.
This success put him firmly on the radar of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Ajax tried everything to keep him. If fact, reports say John Heitinga, one of Ajax’s former players and coaches, even personally called Ouazane to convince him to stay.
But the midfielder seems determined to take the next step in his career with Real Madrid.
If all goes as planned, he will soon sign his first professional contract with Los Blancos, continuing the club’s strategy of investing in bright young talent for the future.
