The plans of La Liga giants Real Madrid to announce the long-awaited signing of Kylian Mbappé have today been revealed.

The info comes courtesy of French outlet L’Équipe, and points towards official confirmation on Real’s part as being imminent.

Los Blancos are of course fully focused on matters on the pitch at present, ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final showdown with Borussia Dortmund.

Upon as much playing to completion, though, attentions will quickly shift towards the market.

And the aforementioned Mbappé will find himself front and centre…

The 25-year-old has of course been locked in negotiations with the Real Madrid brass for several months now, after coming to the decision not to renew his terms with Paris Saint-Germain.

A full agreement is understood to be in place between the parties, with only an official announcement missing.

And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then precisely that has today been pencilled in.

As per L’Équipe:

‘Real Madrid are ready to announce the arrival of France team captain Kylian Mbappé in their squad this Monday.’
