Jude Bellingham has been the undisputed signing of the season so far, having set the Spanish league alight with his brilliant performances week in and week out.

As we approach the campaign’s halfway point, Bellingham has helped Real Madrid remain on the top of the league table, with his productivity and leadership in the middle of the park.

The midfielder’s productivity has stood out most in terms of his performance this season. He is currently the club’s most productive player – a feat very would have expected at the start of the season.

Jude Bellingham’s goalscoring blitz

Jude Bellingham’s most recent performance saw him score a vital goal in the 1-1 draw with Real Betis.

He scored a 53rd-minute goal, even though Real Madrid ended up losing their advantage by conceding a 66th-minute equaliser. The game ended with both teams sharing the spoils.

However, the goal marked a momentous milestone for Bellingham, who has not gone two in a row without scoring a goal since joining Real Madrid this summer.

That is an incredible achievement for a central midfielder, who is playing his first season at Santiago Bernabeu – a storied stage where many seasoned professionals in the past have failed to mark their presence.

Bellingham, for one, has clearly bucked the trend with his productivity. The former Borussia Dortmund starlet has racked up 20 goals or assists in 18 games this season, becoming the club’s most productive player.

Not the first milestone

This is not the first time Jude Bellingham has defied limits after joining Real Madrid in the summer.

Earlier in the campaign, the Englishman won the 2023 Golden Boy Award by garnering a whipping 485 points out of a possible 500 from the jury.

The former Birmingham City starlet also smashed Cristiano Ronaldo’s long-standing record of scoring most goals after his first 15 matches as a Real Madrid player.

Given the midfielder’s growth trajectory, the flurry of milestones are not stopping anytime soon. However, it is imperative that Real Madrid provide adequate supply and support for the Englishman if he is to grow further.
