Arda Guler’s amazing two-goal performance against Villarreal in a thrilling 4-4 draw brought his total to six La Liga goals.

With this, the young Real Madrid player surpassed Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal, who has five goals in the league.

The comparison between Guler and Yamal is striking, especially since Guler missed much of the first half of the season due to injury. Even after recovering, the Turkish player did not get regular opportunities to play with the first team.

It wasn’t until Real Madrid had already secured the La Liga title that Guler started getting more chances to play regularly.

However, despite limited opportunities, Guler managed to outscore Yamal in just 10 league matches, compared to Yamal’s participation in 36 matches.

Guler vs Yamal – A new battle is brewing

Guler’s scoring rate in the league is impressive. He has scored a goal every 63 minutes, having played a total of 373 minutes in the league.

In contrast, Yamal takes 427 minutes to score a goal, with more than 2,000 minutes of playing time.

While these numbers are impressive for Guler, they do not tell the whole story as Yamal also has eight assists, making his total goal contributions in the league 13. However, he achieved this after playing 2,134 minutes.

Looking at the records of these two young talents, it is clear that the future of La Liga is bright. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have promising players who are set to become the next big stars in world football.

For that, Barcelona plan to build their team around Yamal. Meanwhile, Real Madrid, who were uncertain about Guler’s future not long ago, are now excited to see more from the young Turkish player.

Judging by the look of things, it is safe to say that both clubs are optimistic about their future with these talented youngsters in the roster.
