Real Madrid will be looking much like the Spanish national team when they wear their third kit jersey next season.
Drawing away from its traditional colors, Madrid will be wearing an all-red shirt from the Adidas Tango collection.
According to the revealed leaked images from Footy Headlines, even the club crest and the sporting brand logo will appear in a red color just a bit lighter than the rest of the jersey.
The characteristic three stripes on the shoulders would not be featured and instead there’s vertical, thin, elegant lines that go from the chest to the sleeves. The design is inspired in an Adidas collection from over two decades ago, known as the EQT line. In the mid 90’s national teams like Spain, France, and Romania wore them.
The jersey wasn’t the only leak related to the 2018-19 Madrid’s apparel collection.
Tango jackets were also revealed. Much like the jersey, it’s an all-red color design, and it features the vertical stripes from the shoulders going to the sleeves. The big difference, is that the crest and logo appear as per usual – one on each side of the chest – in contrast with the jersey were both are in the chest’s center.
