Youth prospects Yusi, Jacobo Ramon and Chema have continued to rise through the ranks at Real Madrid. According to Relevo, the trio have moved up from Juvenil A to Real Madrid Castilla.

The three players will be part of the Merengue reserve team next season and are scheduled to start preseason on July 15th.

Ramon, 19, is a central defender who alternated between Arbeloa’s Juvenil A team and the reserve team. The defender skipped the Real Madrid C team and will now appear in Raul’s team. The club are particularly impressed by the teenager’s athleticism and aerial ability.

Chema, who operates as a defensive midfielder, ended last season as part of the reserve team, but is now officially part of the academy setup. Meanwhile, Yuri has already been called up to the Moroccan senior team and has attracted interest from La Liga sides such as Getafe, who believe he could be their first-choice left back in the near future.

Although, the trio have skipped teams along the journey, the club do not want to rush them into the first team setup as they believe this could hamper the development. Los Blancos will be patient with these young players and if they impress for the academy team they will have opportunities to feature in the first team squad in cup competitions.
