La Liga giants Real Madrid are pushing hard to close deals for not one, but two of football’s most highly-regarded up-and-coming talents.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Monday provided an insight into developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Whilst it is of course the names of Kylian Mbappé and Alphonso Davies which have found themselves front and centre in the media chatter in Spain’s capital ahead of the summer, the Real brass, it would appear, are also working hard on further targets, too.

And two of those in question come in the form of Leny Yoro, and Franco Mastantuono.

Amid efforts to bring together as many of world football’s most sought after youngsters as possible, with a view to lasting dominance on the continent down the line, Los Blancos, over recent years, have landed the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler, and Endrick.

And, as per Marca:

‘The next names are already written in the Valdebebas offices: Leny Yoro and Franco Mastantuono.’

Yoro, for his part, is a central defender who is currently plying his trade with LOSC Lille in his home country of France.

Mastantuono, meanwhile, a 16-year-old attacking midfielder on the books of Argentine giants River Plate.

Despite their relative inexperience at the top level of the game, both have already done enough to convince the board at the Santiago Bernabéu of their potential as stars in the making.

In turn, Real have begun work towards securing both ‘as soon as possible’, with talks having been kicked into gear with Lille and River alike.

It is also noted that, as things stand, a deal for Yoro is more advanced, ahead of the expiration of his contract at The Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the summer of 2025.
