Over the past few weeks, there have been a lot of speculations and rumours surrounding the future of Real Madrid whizkid Arda Guler.

After all, the 19-year-old wonderkid has played just 98 minutes since joining the club in the summer, although it must be noted that he missed the entire first half of the season due to three injuries.

It has given way to speculations that Guler could be on his way out on loan in the summer in order to play regularly and continue his development.

No plans for Guler to leave

Now, though, AS reports that there are no plans for Arda Guler to leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old has indeed struggled to get minutes under Carlo Ancelotti and has not played in over a month, since a cameo off the bench against Osasuna.

Given the situation, there is no shortage of interest in the youngster either, with several clubs from Spain and outside willing to take him on loan.

However, Guler has not asked to leave the club nor are there any plans for him to leave at this stage. Instead, the youngster would remain at Real Madrid and fight for his place in the team.

Guler could start vs Real Sociedad

In fact, the report from AS states that Guler could be set to make his first La Liga start for Real Madrid when they face Real Sociedad this week.

With the La Liga title almost in the bag and the Bayern Munich encounter next week, Ancelotti is expected to make changes to his team for Friday’s game against Sociedad.

As such, Guler could be one of the beneficiaries with a start on the horizon for the Turkish international.
