It is a manager’s dream to have the best players in the world for every position. Yet, as rosy as it may sound, managing multiple quality players in the same position is a task only a few managers can handle.

For the past decade, Real Madrid have had some of the world’s best midfielders in their ranks. Of them, the trio of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro went on to etch its name in history as one of the greatest in history.

Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid do not want to compromise on the quality of personnel in the middle of the park. The management aims to replace the veterans with some of the finest young talent, some of whom are already in their ranks.

According to reports from AS (h/t Madrid Xtra), Los Blancos wish to have the likes of Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde in their squad all at the same time. In short, they do not wish to ship out one of the existing talents to bring in the highly-rated English midfielder.

Tchouameni has arguably stolen the headlines for Real Madrid this season since arriving from AS Monaco. The Frenchman oozes class every time he steps on the field and has proven to be a more than able replacement for Casemiro.

Valverde’s start to the season has not been any less explosive. The Uruguayan has scored three goals and provided one assist in just six league games so far this term. Further, he also has a goal and an assist to his name in the UEFA Champions League.

Camavinga, meanwhile, has been eased into the thick of things by manager Carlo Ancelotti. But the Frenchman is starting to show his class and quality almost every time he steps out on the field.

And to this existing trio, Real Madrid also want to add Bellingham to create a star-studded midfield unit that will dominate for the next decade or so.

Bellingham is the club’s primary target for the summer transfer window next year. Despite competition from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs, Los Blancos are confident about their chances of landing the 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund ace.

While it is easy on paper to accommodate all four players together, it remains to be seen how Ancelotti manages to keep them satisfied with his rotations, should Bellingham end up joining Real Madrid.
