Real Madrid seem to be seriously weighing up a move for former Arsenal goalkeeper, David Ospina.

Now 33, David Ospina is out of contract with Napoli this summer and Carlo Ancelotti is said to want to reunite with him in Spain.

Ospina moved to Napoli on loan in 2018 and then in a permanent deal in 2019 (£3.15m).

He has made 103 appearances, keeping 39 cleansheets.

Ancelotti, now at Real Madrid, managed Ospina during his time at Napoli, playing the keeper 27 times. That was apparently enough to convince him that, for free, Ospina could do a job at the Bernabeu.

Ospina spent four years at Arsenal after moving from OGC Nice for £3.6m, making 70 appearances, keeping 27 cleansheets, conceding 76, nearly decapitating around three players and almost killing himself a few times, too.
