Real Madrid v Barcelona: El Clásico clash in Women’s Champions League

We're now getting to the business end of the Women's Champions League season and tonight sees Real Madrid lock horns with Barcelona in the first leg of the sides' quarter-final tie at the Alfredo Di Stéfano (9pm CET). This encounter will be the first-ever El Clásico bout on the European stage and the tie will be concluded on 30 March.

Alberto Toril's ladies head into the game on the back of a league trimph over UDG Tenerife, who are rivals in the race to secure a Champions League spot. Real Madrid reached the last eight of the continental competition after finishing runners-up in Group B with four wins to their name. Meanwhile, Barcelona progressed to the quarters after a clean sweep of wins in Group C.
