Real Madrid are confident enough in their chances of signing Leny Yoro that they do not feel the need to work on alternatives. Los Blancos have been linked to Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori, with his stock rapidly rising at Euro 2024, but they are not moving for him.

That is according to Matteo Moretto, who has explained that Los Blancos are only working on a deal for Yoro, and they will do everything they can to bring in the exciting Frenchman. Calafiori, 22, has enjoyed an excellent season with Bologna, and former manager Thiago Motta is looking to take him to Juventus as well.

The rumoured price tag could be a sum of €40m, but the Bianconeri, despite having agreed personal terms with Calafiori, have seen competition loom since the start of the Euros. Arsenal have already enquired about his future, and more Premier League clubs are expected to take an interest in him. With Yoro committed to making a move to the Santiago Bernabeu happen, Real Madrid are putting all of their eggs in his basket.
