Real Madrid are set to make a summer move for Lazio sensation Sergej Milinković-Savić, say reports in Spain on Saturday.
The Serbia international has been, arguably, the breakout star in European football this season, guiding the Biancocelesti to fourth in Serie A.
The 22-year-old has been instrumental in Simeone Inzaghi’s side’s rise to the Champions League places, scoring nine and assisting six in all competitions.
And those performances have caught the eye of Real Madrid, who according to Marca, will make a move at the end of the season.
The sports daily claims that Los Blancos president, Florentino Pérez, is desperate to sign the versatile midfielder and will go all out for his signature before the World Cup starts in June.
Real Madrid will have to spend big to get Milinković-Savić though, with Lazio chief Claudio Lotito insisting last year that the player was worth well over €100m.
