Real Madrid to discover Champions League last-16 opponents on Monday 13th

Real Madrid will find out their Champions League round-of-16 opponents on Monday, in a draw to be held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon (12 noon). Carlo Ancelotti’s men will be top seeds having finished as leaders of Group D, and despite the group stage not yet having finished, they already have two potential rivals: PSG and Sporting CP.
Real Madrid will contest the first leg, which will be away from home, on 15, 16, 22 or 23 February, with the return leg to be played at the Santiago Bernabéu on the 8, 9, 15 or 16 March. The draw will feature two pots comprising the eight group winners and the eight runners-up. Teams cannot be drawn against another side from the same association or a team that they came up against in the group stage.

Group runners-up: PSG Sporting CP Atlético Inter
