Real Madrid are all set to debut their new away kit for the 2025/26 season during their final group stage clash at the FIFA Club World Cup against RB Salzburg.
The match is scheduled for Friday, June 27, and it is more than just about style, as the result will determine Real Madrid’s path in the tournament.
The away kit, revealed a few weeks ago, will finally make its on-pitch debut. Featuring a striking dark blue base, the jersey is inspired by “the sky during night matches,” according to Real Madrid’s official website.
The kit is enhanced with silver detailing, paying tribute to the iconic exterior of the Santiago Bernabéu, while green piping along the edges reflects the vibrant colour of the pitch. It is a look that merges tradition, modern aesthetics, and club identity.
Fans will be eager to see the kit in action for the first time, especially in a match of such importance.
With its subtle yet bold design, it symbolises both elegance and competitiveness, values central to Real Madrid’s philosophy.
On the pitch, the stakes couldn’t be higher. Real Madrid go into the match with a slight advantage after Salzburg and Al Hilal played out a draw.
That result gave Los Blancos a clear route to the round of 16: a win or a draw against Salzburg will be enough to see them through.
However, a defeat could prove costly. If Madrid lose and Al Hilal beat Pachuca, the Spanish giants would be eliminated from the competition. A draw, while still securing qualification, may not guarantee top spot.
If Al Hilal win by a margin of two or more goals, they would top the group on goal difference, potentially complicating Madrid’s route in the knockout rounds.
