La Liga giants Real Madrid are expected to make official the contract renewals of three headline members of the club’s first-team squad following the upcoming Champions League final.

The subject of contracts, and those not signed, has of course proven a major topic of conversation in Spain’s capital across the week to date.

This comes after Los Blancos were dealt a heavy blow, upon Toni Kroos announcing his decision to hang up his boots upon the season’s close.

Safe to say, then, that all of a Real Madrid persuasion are no doubt eager for some altogether more positive news on the personnel front over the weeks ahead.

And, as alluded to above, precisely that looks set to be forthcoming, early next month.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are primed to finish out their campaign on June 1st, in a Champions League showpiece clash with Borussia Dortmund.

And, as per a report from Relevo, in the two days which follow, contract renewals for all of Andriy Lunin, Luka Modrić and Lucas Vázquez are in line to be announced.

That of club captain Nacho, too, has not yet been ruled out.
