Endrick was one of Real Madrid’s two signings last summer. While Kylian Mbappe hogged all the limelight for obvious reasons, the young Brazilian’s capture was no mean feat either.
Endrick, after all, was joining the club after being advertised as one of the most promising young players in world football.
However, fast forward to halfway point of the campaign, it is perhaps fair to surmise that Endrick has endured a rocky start to his Real Madrid career.
The Brazilian, despite producing a stellar display in Real Madrid’s recent win over Celta Vigo, has struggled with a lack of game-time.
A recent report from Jorge Picon has offered more insights into Endrick’s current situation at Real Madrid.
It appears the young forward is taking cues from Vinicius Jr., who also endured a rocky start to his Real Madrid career, under the leadership of Julen Lopetegui.

But the Brazilian international remained patient and waited for his opportunity, eventually making his big breakthrough at Santiago Bernabeu.
Endrick, too, is looking for a similar outcome. The youngster is a huge fan of Vinicius and greatly admires his compatriot’s professionalism and resilience.
In fact, Vinicius’ never-say-never attitude is something Endrick wishes to replicate as he looks to bide his time and wait for his opportunity at Real Madrid.
Despite his early struggles, the former Palmeiras starlet remains determined to make his big breakthrough at Real Madrid and prove his critics wrong.
Although the road ahead could be difficult, Endrick has shown the right attitude so far and glimpses of his potential are there for all to see. With patience, the 18-year-old has what it takes to make it big at the club.
