An insight into the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has been provided, by teammte Dani Carvajal.
This of course comes after frontman Mbappé set alarm bells ringing in Spain’s capital on Tuesday night.
En route to Real’s 3-2 Champions League triumph at Atalanta, the Frenchman, after opening the game’s scoring, went to ground during the first-half.
From here, Mbappé was swiftly hauled off, giving rise to fears of an incoming spell on the sidelines for the former PSG standout.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle in Bergamo, Carlo Ancelotti was quick to assure that the problem was not a serious one.
No further update has since been forthcoming, though.
All of a Blancos persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be interested to hear of one of Mbappé’s Real Madrid teammates today doubling down on Ancelotti’s assurance.
During an interview with COPE, Dani Carvajal had the following to say:
“Kylian Mbappé? It doesn’t seem serious [the injury]. He is training very well, he has already scored a lot of goals despite the criticism.”
