The latest comments on the part of Turkey national team head coach Vincenzo Montella are no doubt set to pique attentions amongst all associated with La Liga giants Real Madrid.

As much comes after the Italian tactician provided an insight into his plans for Arda Güler in the country’s next outing.

The 19-year-old, for his part, was forced to make do with a spot on the bench last time out, when Turkey fell to a 1-0 friendly defeat at the hands of Hungary on Friday night.

Introduced late in the action in Budapest, though, as has proven the case in recent weeks at club level, Güler made his impact very much felt, adding some craft and guile to his nation’s midfield ranks.

And, if the latest quotes attributed to the aforementioned Vincenzo Montella are anything to go by, such exploits on the part of the gifted starlet look set to be rewarded next time out.

This comes with Güler in line to feature from the off in a further friendly meeting with Austria this coming Tuesday.

“Arda [Güler] is a player we want to see and he will probably start in the next friendly against Austria,” Montella confirmed during an exchange with the media.

With supporters of Real Madrid having long been clamouring for a more extended opportunity to see their side’s midfield prodigy in action, Turkey’s clash with Austria has suddenly become something of a must-watch.
