After having played for over a year with shoulder discomfort, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham finally decided to undergo surgery to address the issue this summer.
The England international had been dealing with the shoulder problem since his first season at the Santiago Bernabeu when he dislocated it but opted against surgery.
But with the discomfort getting worse, the player decided it was time for him to go under the knife and did so soon after the FIFA Club World Cup.
Following the surgery, reports suggested that Bellingham’s recovery will take at least three months and he is only likely to return around late October or early November.
However, there is some good news for Real Madrid as journalist Ruben Martin (h/t RM4Arab) reports that the midfielder’s recovery is going very well so far.

The Merengues are understood to be very happy and satisfied with how things are progressing with Bellingham and believe that he can fully recover much earlier than initially anticipated.
However, while there is plenty of optimism, Real Madrid know that patience is needed so that their talismanic superstar is back to his peak fitness.
It must be noted that Bellingham began doing individual work out on the grass last week which is a sign of things progressing well.
While the midfielder is unlikely to be ready in time for the derby against Atletico Madrid next month, Real Madrid will hope to have him back before the first El Clasico of the season against Barcelona in late October.
