La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Tuesday registered a new member of the club’s youth ranks to their first-team setup for the Champions League.
The player in question? Jesús Fortea.
The name of youngster Fortea has of course proven itself a prominent one in the headlines in Spain’s capital over recent weeks.
This comes after the long-term injury suffered by Dani Carvajal saw the 17-year-old afforded a permanent place in Carlo Ancelotti’s first-team setup.
Fortea, for his part, is a gifted defender, who generally operates on the right of a back-four.
The Spanish youth international has long been considered the ‘right-back of the future’ at Valdebebas, a reputation which, as alluded to above, has today seen him rewarded once more.
As revealed by Javier Rodríguez Pascual of Relevo:
‘Jesús Fortea, registered in Real Madrid’s list for the Champions League. Hugo de Llanos and Yáñez have also been included in the B-list.’
